Founded in 2019 in the heart of East Sussex, Hanoto Technology began with a simple yet powerful vision: to make enterprise-level IT services accessible to small and medium-sized businesses across the South of England. What started as a two-person operation in a small office has grown into a trusted technology partner serving hundreds of businesses.

Why the name Hanoto?
Every great business is built on something personal. Ours is built on three little people who change everything.
The name Hanoto isn't a clever acronym dreamed up in a branding workshop, and it isn't a Latin word meaning "we fix routers". It's something far closer to home, and far more important to our founder.
Hanoto is woven from the names of the three children of our founding director: HArrison, NOah and TObias. Two small letters from each of them, stitched together into one word, and into the name above our door.
When James started the company back in 2019, the choice was deliberate. A business named after his children would have to behave like it. It would have to be honest, because they would one day grow up and read about it. It would have to be patient, because patience is what families teach you. And it would have to be in it for the long run, because that's what a name carries: a responsibility.
Seven years on, that ethos still runs through every helpdesk ticket, every server we patch and every camera we install. When you work with Hanoto, you're not just hiring an IT company, you're being trusted with a family name. We take that seriously, every single day.

The Beginning
Launched Hanoto Technology with a focus on IT support and cloud migration. Our breakthrough came when we successfully migrated our first family-run business to Microsoft 365, saving them over £15,000 annually while dramatically improving productivity.
Building Foundations
Achieved Microsoft Partner status, a milestone validating our technical expertise. During the pandemic, we helped over 50 companies pivot to remote working, implementing secure cloud infrastructure and collaboration tools that kept businesses running when it mattered most.
Strategic Expansion
Launched our AI Consultancy division, positioning us at the forefront of the AI revolution. Expanded our portfolio to include comprehensive digital marketing, SEO, and web design services, allowing clients to consolidate their technology needs under one trusted partner.
